| new add - Blue Note Revisited |
I'm curious about this release. Is it some sort of Blue Note jazz sampler? Is it a reworking of Blue Note classic tunes by some young turks with 21st century ears? Jazz samples inserted into an electronic environment? Blue Note seems to try and keep its finger on the pulse of modern music without selling out.
Thanks for any info.

phil- i have yet to listen to it, but from what i was told, this album is simply a re-working by some modern jazz players of classic blue note releases. to my knowledge it does not stray to far from the originals, but there are a few glitchy electronic remixes of some older songs. it should be out on the shelves soon, so give it a listen and let me know what you think. _________________ Mark Warren
