WCNI is a firm believer in supporting live alternative music. By
"alternative" we mean music that is generally not heard on
commercial radio stations. In order to ensure that alternative music
stays alive, it must be experienced in a live setting. Therefore,
we'll try and list as many dates as possible for the numerous
diverse acts that you hear on WCNI. So far we have formed
partnerships with some local clubs, their schedules will be printed
in their entirety. Other listings will be posted at our
discretion. We have tickets to give away on-air to many of these
shows, so stay tuned and try your luck! A ride board, where
listeners can offer and request rides to shows in the area, will be
up shortly. More comprehensive listings will also be posted soon.
